Shirley Taylor
Front Ensemble Technician
Shirley is a full time piano and percussion educator based in Southern California. She currently manages ST Studios as a piano instructor and, alongside Rancho Cucamonga HS, teaches at Townsend Jr High as a front ensemble instructor. She also worked with Temple City HS, Rancho Starbuck Middle School, Damien HS, and Chino Hills HS.
Shirley received her Bachelor of Music in Piano Pedagogy from California State University of Fullerton where she became the second person to graduate with that degree as an undergraduate. Shirley's marching experience includes Pulse Percussion (2019-2022), and the Blue Devils Drum & Bugle Corps (2020). Her piano experience includes training through all levels of Certificate of Merit and performing/medaling in MTAC OCW Piano Solo Competitions, MTAC Bach Festivals, and MTAC state conventions.
